As Arliss said, I am glad you posted, both because I do want to know how you are doing but think you are probably tired of being asked.

I'm glad you had the tradition and the structure (not sure if that's the right word, but it's the best I can think of) it provides, and that you are giving yourself the time to not undertake things. It seems right for you, as well sensible.
