Bailing on Onerous Task Day

multipurposegoddessI don't know what my deal is, but I am barely staying awake today.
Tomorrow is H's birthday and I have been preoccupied with that for a while, that's probably bleeding over into today. I feel like I should do something, but I don't know what. I mean, everything I ever do reminds me of Henry, pretty much, I don't know how to ramp that up. Or if I need to. I don't know.
And nothing I have to do is really pressing. It's still Schrodiger's insurance settlement, so there's only so much I can do in the way financial stuff and general planning for the future. The things that always need to be done - laundry, dishes, etc - will still be there tomorrow and won't get much worse if I don't do any today. And it's been foggy all day, looking to maybe clear up enough to be overcast, which just messes with my sense of the passage of time. It seems like its predawn all day until suddenly it's evening. Not to mention the cats don't like this weather, so they are inside and more apt to come sit on my lap and make me even less likely to get up and do something.
Cleaning off the DVR will have to suffice as an accomplishment.
Edited at 1:47 PM to add: Well, fuck. I got the mail and had another 30-day extension letter from Prudential, so I called to ask them WTF i staking so long and Bonita told me they reached a decision today to deny the claim and I should get the letter with the explanation why soon. Goddammit.
