I like that check out an e-reader idea. That'd be a pretty cool draw for a coffee shop.

My neighborhood does have a coffee shop, and lot of restaurants and hair salons, but not much in the way of retail. There is a Barnes and Noble over by the mall, but no other bookstores for 10 miles or so and nothing downtown. And I wouldn't mind selling over the internet, especially to get rid of the inventory the current owner has. There was a used bookstore nearby, but it went out of business, which gives me pause, but it was in a shopping center that recently changed owners and had a lot of businesses move out, so maybe there were other things going on there.

I might have to write up a business plan and really consider this. There are a lot of advantages, and if it went bust I don't think I would be worse off than if I did nothing over the same time period. Hmm.
