Earthquake

3.9 magnitude quake epicenter less than 10 miles from me. I think that's the closest I've been to an epicenter. Big jolt. Cats really didn't like that, not one bit, still a little freaked out. The fluffy one, Pixie, was light switch high on the wall as she made her break down the hallway. She's hiding now. Jadzia is creeping around looking very suspicious. Dog was pretty unhappy until he got outside, now he's lying on the patio without a care in the world.

It was over quick. My asparagus pot fell off the refrigerator, but nothing else really shifted much. Even the ceiling fans and hanging pot rack weren't swaying, which seems strange but there it is. Even my rickety fence that seems ready to come down with no provocation looks exactly the same.
