Driving to SF

I forgot to mention, yesterday, that we drove to SF by way of HWY 37. They've finally finished working on the part that connects to the 80 and now it is a very convenient way to get to Marin and points yonder, and a much pleasanter drive than along the 80 and over the Bay Bridge. Sadly, there are no dedicated FasTrak lanes across the Golden Gate and I'm sure that traffic down the 101 can be gnarly, but it's not the same traffic that I always get stuck in so it seems like it would be easier to take, somehow.

I think SF just got easier to get to in my head, which may translate into getting over there more often. Which would be nice, because there are na awful lot of people in the city that I don't see near as often as I would like to.
