What was happening with me yesterday? Oh, right:

• 10:23 Forgot that the only way to turn the waffle iron off is to unplug it. Whoops.
• 11:10 Dumpling of the Day = Sheesh Barak bi Laban (Lamb dumplings in yogurt soup). I'll be attempting to grind lmb in the food processor.
• 11:14 We don't keep kosher, but this is close to boiling the kid in the milk of the mother. Troubling. Yogurt is from cow, not sheep, at least.


As of Thursday monring, still haven't made this. Sadly, I have to clean the kitchen from the accumulated detritus of thrown together semi-meals over the past few days. I wish my DH would voluntarily pick up the slack on household chores when I am not feeling well. He has many fine qualities, but that is not one of them.
