Neighborhood Update

multipurposegoddessIt looks like the house next door is for rent again. I don't know what happened to Jeff, I didn't notice him moving out but someone else has been over there working on the place for a while and now it definitely seems empty and a group of what looked like prospective tenants came by a little while ago.
Probably unconnected, but someone got arrested in front of that house last night. I think drunk and disorderly, or DUI. It was too cold for me to go outside or open the windows and be really nosy, and I didn't notice there was anything happening until just before the handcuffing (no flashing lights or sirens), but someone said "you'll have time to sober up" loud enough for me to hear. I don't think it was any of my neighbors, possibly someone visiting, possibly just someone who didn't realize this street is a cul-de-sac and turned in by mistake.
Stil haven't mown my lawn, but I decided not to even try to motivate myself to do it today. Tomorrow there is supposed to be sun, after all.
