Just as an illustration of where my head is at today: I made waffles this morning. I managed to measure out the butter, melt it in the microwave, set it on the counter next to the gravy boat, and yet somehow not actually add it to the batter until I had made 80% of the waffles. I got most of the way through two batches of waffles sticking to the iron and thinking "I don't know what's wrong, do I need to up the butter in this recipe" before realizing that, no, I didn't put in the butter at all. So the final waffle had 5 times as much butter as it needed because that was the path of least resistance at that point. Still, breakfast was had, no real harm done.
Also, I think it was here where I asked for opinions on how early I could mow my lawn. Well, my neighbor's landscaping team were at it at 7:45 AM, so I will not feel bad about doing that myself in the future. No way my single pieces of electronic implements of destruction are as loud as their army of gas-powered same.
