Happy November
Nov. 1st, 2006 06:57 amAnother month, another livejournal entry. I could never keep up with a diary, either.
I bought 5 bags of candy to give out to trick-or-treaters. We only had one knock on the door, two teenagers (at least they were in costume) that DH gave huge heaping handfuls of candy. Still, there’s an awful lot left. My guess that being at the end of a cul-de-sac with a streetlight that doesn't always work, and then dark stairs to go down before you get to our friendly and welcoming door would keep the kids away was correct.
It’s a good thing I shopped with an eye to what would freeze okay. I am, of course, still dieting. 20 lbs lost in October, which is a nice start. Most of that was lost through stringent calorie cutting. I’m up to a reasonable 1200 calories a day, now, and exercising to make up the difference. The last few days seem to be a bit of a plateau, I'm hoping that's temporary. I really don't want to keep up 600 calories a day. The weight came off fast, but it was hard to actually do anything with that small an energy intake.
