Stuff and, as Usual, Things
Jul. 21st, 2010 05:02 pmSo. Eight weeks in. Time, I think, to start forcing myself to do stuff.
I expect to spend a lot more time deciding which stuff to force myself to do than actually doing anything, but still. The main things I want to concentrate on are: paperwork (still waiting on the death certificate, but I can start getting things ready for when I have it and minimize delays on my end), exercise, getting my house in order in a literal sense, and social obligations (returning some of those messages that have been piling up, mostly, possibly actual seeing of people but I'm not going to push on that immediately). Care and feeding of the dog, cats, bees, plants, and myself, of course, but I've been doing pretty well with that already, and pretty well is good enough.
Somewhat to that end, I'm going to see Avenue Q tonight with my parents. we bought the tickets in the Spring, so of course i have an extra. I can't remember if I already bought 2011 season tickets; I think I did, so I'd best get used to going to the theater with an empty seat, I guess. I'm not sure how well I will deal with this, but at least it's a funny show, right?
