Streetsweeping Etiquette
May. 19th, 2011 09:20 amMan, I hate it when people park in front of my house on streetsweeping day, but it is almost worse when they park in front of my neighbor's house, because I have less of a leg to stand on in complaining (not that I complain except in my head, and here, I don't even know whose car that is to be able to complain to them) but the streetsweeper has to pull away from the curb a car length before the parked car so once again my gutter does not get cleaned. Dang it all to heck.
Unrelatedly, it's pretty wrong that my reaction to Jeff Conaway's coma is bitterness that he got found and has a chance to recover. Not very compassionate, self.
