Mmm, honey
Nov. 13th, 2011 08:43 amI'm starting to think there's something to this couple of teaspoons of honey before bed to help me sleep through the night thing. Mainly because when I forget, like I did last night, I wake up in the middle of the night (though that was partially the dog's fault) and have really unpleasant dreams (zombies, ftr).
The "science" is something about the fructose keeping your liver from triggering fear-inducing hormones while you sleep. It certainly sounds like BS, but I am very much in favor of taking advantage of the placebo effect whenever I can, so BS is OK.
