Note to Self: Do Not Drop Landline

 As is more or less usual, after being pretty productive yesterday, I am having a day of sloth. I did talk to Apple support re: the phone that will not restore. They, predictably, had me go through all the troubleshooting steps I tried yesterday with the same complete lack of trouble identification and then said I probably need to replace the phone. And the earliest Genius Bar appointment is Saturday. Do I want to spend the Saturday after Thanksgiving hanging out in an Apple store? No, I don't think I do. So, no cell phone for me for a while, I guess. Tiresome, I had integrated it into my daily routine in a number of ways and now I am bereft of reminders and directions.

Maybe more coffee will help.
