Dec. 25th, 2011 07:59 am Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! It's a frosty morning here, and a no burn day, so I am cracking up the gas fireplace. It'll do.
Yesterday was not a very restful day of rest. My parents came over in the morning, around 10:30, so we could exchange presents. One of the things they got for me was a greenhouse that needed assembly. The website dad had ordered it from included reviews that implied it took a couple of hours to put together.
The instructions were difficult to interpret pictures with no interactive words and occasional mislabeling (we think, otherwise Step Two is a complete mystery). After 1 we had completed 2 of the 14 steps and were hungry, so we broke for lunch at the Athenian Grill and a little of the 49er game. Yum.
We got through most of step 5 by the time the sun set. The partially completed greenhouse and associated parts are in my side yard between the swing and the garbage cans. I don't think I can do much assembly by myself, with the three of us working o it I was wishing for an extra set of hands occasionally.
In any case, not gonna work on it today. Gonna take it easy, curl up by the fire reading mysteries and watching Community. Yay.
