I'm not liking today very much. I leave for New Jersey day after tomorrow for a wedding (which is a whole other story that I won't get into right now) and I have a ton of stuff to do before I leave. So, of course, I am spending all day trying to get my laptop to work. It fell off the arm of a chair yesterday morning, but seemed fine afterwards. I used it for several hours afterward with no problems. Suddenly iCal started "unexpectedly quitting". I followed my usual SOP and rebooted, and haven't been able to login since. Sometimes the apple logo turns into gobbledy gook. Sometimes the spinny thing just keeps spinning forever. Sometimes I get to the login screen and my password gets rejected. I can boot off of an install disk and reset the password, but it still gets rejected.
I'm going to be home for 5 days over the next 3 weeks, I can't be laptopless in my travels.
Meanwhile, my laundry isn't done, my dishes are not washing themselves, and I'm not sure if I have bills that need to be paid before I leave because that info is, yes, on my laptop in iCal.
Bah.
