I was watching more or less live on Thursday while DH was out at a meeting, and he came home while it was still on so I paused it to chat with him a little and he asked me what was going on.

I had paused it round about where they had traced the ultralight back to the skydivers, so I told him that two of the plots had linked up but I doubted the third would. "It would make me really happy", I said "if it turns out that this guy was killed by a tortoise getting dropped on his head." Which confused him a little as he couldn't figure out how you would murder someone that way but I said, no, I was just thinking of that Greek guy, I forget which one because really I think of Small Gods first and then leap over to the real version, but I even came up with the name Aeschylus, though we both decided that it couldn't have been I was thinking of, he was a playwright.

So. Happy how that all turned out.

...did he actually get killed by a falling tortoise? (I haven't watched CSI since Grisson and Sarah started making cow eyes at each other.)

Yes he did. At least, that was Laurence Fishburne's conclusion after he found a tortoise shell near where the body had been found. I can't remember his character's name, but I'm liking him.

And he came to the idea while being disgusted with the rest of the team for never having read Aeschylus. It was nicely done.

Never liked Sarah and Grissom together, either, but I kept it as a show to half-watch while i did something else. It's starting to grab my attention again, a little bit.
