The hold lifted on the insurance money, so I paid off my credit cards. It's surprisingly exhausting clicking on "OK" over and over, and watching the amount in my checking account going down and down even though that was the plan for that money all along, to only be mine for a short period. Now to figure out what all those automatic charges are and get rid of as many of them as possible - I think I was finally successul in canceling H's gym membership, so that's a good start. Will figure out what to do about loans another day. Possibly another month.

I need to fill out this Eligibility of Insurability stuff for the insurance company, but I find it confusing. Releasing information I can do. Listing H's doctor's, pharmacies, hospitals, heath insurance plans and psychologists for "the past five years from the EOI Application Date", I don't even know where to start. I may have to call and find out what that time period actually is, the five years previous to the specified date? Since the specified date but no more than 5 years ago? Something else? It all seems like information they can track down at least as easily as I can, once I sign the release.

Luckily, the files I cleared out and destroyed last week were from longer ago than they could possibly want so I don't have to feel bad about that.

So, more shuffling of paper is definitely on the agenda for the foreseeable future. Also should be doing laundry, now, and cleaning the kitchen and making soup. Maybe not all at once, but they all need doing. But I think I need to sit and not do anything for a bit, first.
