Today So Far

multipurposegoddessEyes checked. Prescription has changed only a little in the four (4! I didn't think it had been that long but I can see why I wouldn't have bothered in each of those years especially as I haven't had vision coverage for all of them. But still, 4 years, whoosh, gone). Doing okay on the cataract/glaucoma front. Picked out Banana Republic frames, I'm sure they will be fine. Doc gave me the idea to try to cannibalize one of my older frames to make these wearable, as the lenses are still pretty all right, for back up glasses.
But what I mostly want to do is go back to sleep. And as I say that I realize I haven't had coffee. I forgot. Who forgets to have coffee in the morning? I do. Stupid brain.
Met the guy who moved in across the street - he's from New Orleans! He saw the UNO parking stickers on the back of the Toyota and made sure to say hi when he saw that it was mine. Kinda nice, a little hometown connection inasmuch as New Orleans is not my hometown, but something along those lines.
