multipurposegoddessWell, I managed to mow the lawn. Somewhat haphazardly, and it still looks pretty scraggly compared to my one neighbor who has an army of landscapers come out weekly, but at least the grass is shorter. I may edge tomorrow. We'll see. There's no rain forecast for a bit so maybe I can get ahead of the growth a little.
Seems like I ought to be able to accomplish more than that in a day, but, again, we'll see. Tired, now.
edited at 3pm to add: well, I paid my bills that I put off on Friday, including the one stupid one from my ex-doctor that I was postponing because it irritates me that she's sending the bill to DH who was never her patient (and was dead before the visit she's billing me for, I assume, it comes with no explanation but that's true only reasonable thing she could possibly be billing me for (though if she had billed my insurance correctly I shouldn't owe even that much BUT that was a different insurance company than I have now and straightening that out would be a huge PITA)). It's $25 so, whatever, I'll pay it. I'm tempted to make her go to collections over the tiny amount just because her billing system is so screwy but I know that would just be more annoying for me. Anyway, mortgage paid for another month, is the main thing.
edited again @ 4:30: and now I'm having a beer, because mowing the lawn makes beer extra delicious. It's a little like cleaning the chametz out of the house. Not very much, but a little.
