May. 12th, 2012 03:38 pmWhew. Three days in a row of being out in the world, y'all. That's a lot for me. And at the end of it I was tired, but not this-was-a-terrible-idea-I-need-to-not-do-so-much-next-time tired, so that's good progress. I am staying in with the curtains drawn today, but not literally hiding in the bedroom.
Had my initial Dr.s appt on Thursday, which went smoothly. I like my doctor, who listened to all my concerns and scheduled tests for me and complimented my color-blocking. I love how Kaiser has all the labs and immunizations and everything under the same roof so I could just go down the hall and get my Tdap (possibly way overdue? I have no idea. I have it in my head that I get tetanus shots frequently because I am always injuring myself on random sharp objects or cats but I don't specifically remember when I might have gotten my last one). I had to go back the next morning for the blood draws because some of them required fasting, but at least I knew where I was going. And I've already gotten most of my results through the magic of the internet, which just amazes me! Not that I really know what the numbers mean, in some cases, but there they are.
And my dad's garage finished with my car yesterday, so I took the train down to where they could pick me up. I'm very fancy now with my windows that roll up and down reliably and my door that opens from the inside, and the color of the new door is actually pretty close to the rest of the car. So that's nice.
On the way home, Wendy's lured me in with their new sides - the mac and cheese is good and cheddary, but the chili cheese fries are merely passable. I feel like I could do a Leonard-esque YouTube channel of drive-thru fast food rather than frozen pizza, but I won't.
