Speaking of Long Overdue Tasks

I finally got Comcast to shut off my TV service. I've had DirecTV since we moved here, so, 5 years, but Comcast provides my internet and phone service and every time I tried to get rid of TV they would convince me that the bundle would save me money, so I hooked up my old Tivo to their feed for those times when I need a third tuner and just kinda went with it. Well, the Tivo can't decode their signal anymore, so I called in and was firm. It will save me a whopping $8 a month, but, whatever, it was annoying me and now it's not.
I tried hooking up an antenna to the Tivo, but I only get one channel that shows infomercials and old movies, and I don't mean classics, just whatever they could get cheap, so that's hardly worth the trouble.
I should probably reduce my internet package and just get rid of the landline, but I'm not ready to figure all that out yet.
