Man, I had a good day yesterday. After the push to prepare a seder on Monday and have the floor ready to be eaten off of [um, that's not really what I mean, I mean sitting on the floor to eat], and the going out to someone else's seder on Tuesday, Wednesday was incredibly relaxing. DH took the car to work, so I couldn't have run errands if I wanted to. Well, most errands, but I didn't want to and not having the car really relieved any lingering pressure that I should do things like grocery shop or take my bike for a tuneup or whatever.

I ended up lazing about, reading Fables Vols. 4-8, and eating whatever I wanted as long as it wasn't leavened. Chocolate bon bons figured prominently.  Some part of my brain kept trying to get me to mix up drinks with the cherry vodka that's in the freezer, but the rest of me remembered the  oceans of wine I had drunk the previous days and vetoed. When DH got home we had dinner out of jars and boxes with no cooking at all and watched recorded TV. Fabulous.

Must not let myself do it again today.  That path leads to Lutherans all over the house.
