Hooray Health Insurance

multipurposegoddessIn the sense that I am really glad to continue to have health insurance. It's Annual Enrollment time, which I was supposed to do on the web, but of course I couldn't remember my password, though it is apparently not the default password so I must have logged into this thing at some point and changed it. Unfortunately, the "challenge questions" to reset the password do not make sense to me and I can't remember what answers I put down. One of them is "what was your childhood nickname" and I didn't have childhood nickname, so why would I have picked that question and what answer could I have possibly given? Maybe I wrote down the answers somewhere but I could not begin to guess where.
However, I called the customer service number and the nice fellow there walked me through trying the login again (and gave me my "hire date" which is totally fictional and also needed for resetting the password) but couldn't help me with the security questions, obviously, but he could take my elections over the phone so I am all set for another year of Kaiser coverage (which I will use any day now for some preventive care, I promise!) and (and this is very exciting) a brand new vision plan so I can get some new glasses! Not having to periodically superglue the earpiece back on will be a real treat, and I'm pretty sure my vision has declined since my last exam as everything looks kind of smeared even when the lenses are really truly clean.
That is probably all I will get done today as I slept really badly last night, tossing and turning constantly and when I did manage to actually sleep it came with terrible dreams (inexplicable dreams about, like, boundary issues which I have no idea why my subconscious would be all hot and bothered about that right now) so I woke up all stressed out and still tired and every time I think I might get something done I find that, no, I really don't have the energy. So it's a good thing I could take care of the insurance business while sitting down.
Also possible to accomplish while sitting down - playing with iOS5. That'll keep me busy for a while
